Professional Experience
Website Design and Marketing Limitless Idea Project Denver, CO 2005-present
- Sleek HTML, expressive design, logical information architecture, and all the content a client required. I established this company to provide services to an existing client and other small businesses that wanted a one-stop shop for Internet marketing and communication.
- In addition to writing HTML/css and original copy, I’ve shot or edited photos and designed graphics for clients, set up customized HTML email newsletters, made timely updates to existing websites and managed mailing lists. As a web editor, I’ve worked with contributors’ text and existing marketing documents, created blogs and made regular entries for clients with their voice; wrote marketing copy and press releases. Designed collateral materials for print and online marketing campaigns. Created and continue to contribute to original-content blogs.
- Development skills include a high-level of proficiency in HTML/css, Adobe Photoshop, In-Design/Quark, word processing, spreadsheets, Dreamweaver, text editors and MovableType-style CMS. Facility with Flash & ActionScript, Adobe Illustrator, PHP, XML and relational databases. Have a working familiarity with Javascript, mySQL.
- Infomation Architecture, Database Logic, and User Interface are terms that can be applied to work I've done for several clients. Specifically, beginning in 2005, I coordinated the development of a site to deliver all the available real estate sales data from the county database to my client's new site. In 2010, I redesigned the site to increase the visual impact and compliment the extensive fact base.

Reporter, Entertainment Section Editor Summit Daily News Frisco, CO 1999-2000
- My evolving beat began with courts, town government, health and dog stories and turned into state and local government reporting, education and environment.
- Produced ten stories per week from idea through research and writing. Contributed a magazine-length feature periodically to the Sunday issue and wrote copy for supplements and guides.
- Promoted to entertainment section editor, I wrote A&E copy, edited contributing writers, collaborated with production designers for covers, made photo assignments, acquired AP copy, and sent copy to web edition.
Duties required extensive use of Photoshop and Quark to layout the 24-32 page weekly section.
